From Calamity to Calm in 60 Seconds

  1. Stop what your doing
  2. Become aware of heart rate, breathing rate, fast movements
  3. Calm everything down by slowing down your movements and your breathing
  4. Relax your muscles
  5. Focus on something in the present moment; what do you see or hear? what's the temperature like?
  6. Think about a person, place or memory that reminds you of calm
  7. Then go about your business feeling refreshed and ready
